Sir Freddie Laker and young companion on yacht deck in Majorca harbor with luxury boats in background, 1970s-1982

Sir Freddie Laker enjoys a leisure moment on a yacht deck in Majorca during his holiday, accompanied by a young person in a red sweater. This photograph from the late 1970s or early 1980s captures the aviation entrepreneur during his successful Laker Airways period, when his Skytrain low-cost transatlantic service was revolutionizing air travel and affording him personal luxuries like Mediterranean yacht holidays.
