Bay thoroughbred horse standing in profile on grass field with stable buildings in background, 1940s-1960s

A well-conformed bay thoroughbred horse stands in profile on a grass field, showing classic racing horse breeding typical of the mid-20th century British racing industry. The stable buildings visible in the background suggest this photograph was taken at a professional training facility during Sir Freddie Laker's early involvement in various business ventures before founding his airline empire.
