Billboard welcoming Sir Freddie Laker to Los Angeles with palm trees and urban street scene in background

A large billboard in Los Angeles welcomes Sir Freddie Laker during what appears to be a promotional visit or celebration of Laker Airways' transatlantic Skytrain service. The billboard's prominent placement on a busy street with palm trees demonstrates the significant public recognition of Laker's revolutionary low-cost airline operations between the UK and US in the late 1970s.
