Sir Freddie Laker shaking hands with interviewer holding BBC microphone in formal indoor setting, 1981

Sir Freddie Laker, wearing glasses and a business suit, shakes hands with a BBC interviewer during what appears to be a formal media interview in 1981. This photograph captures Laker during a pivotal period for his airline empire, as Laker Airways faced increasing financial pressures that would lead to its collapse in February 1982.
